Asahidake, the highest peak in Hokkaido’s Daisetsuzan mountain range, boasts some of the finest quality snow in Japan. The cable car system provides sports and nature enthusiasts easy year-round access to the top of the mountain for backcountry paradise adventuring. Our guide, Kentaro, was born and raised in Asahikawa at the foot of the Daisetsuzan mountains and is an avid cyclist, mountain climber, and winter sportsman. He carefully crafts winter snowsport tours for all levels of participants ensuring that everyone from beginner to expert athlete has an exhilarating experience. Come join us for a breathtaking day of skiing or snowshoeing Hokkaido’s Mt. Asahidake with Kentaro as your guide!

What you’ll do

You will meet the guide at the Asahidake information center. The guide gave a brief overview of the tour and the notification. Then you will ride on the cable car and head to the top area of Asahidake. Finally, enjoy your skiing or snowboarding!
