Views from the highest points in Hokkaido

The Daisetsuzan Volcanic Group is a group of peaks arranged around the 2 kilometre-wide caldera in Hokkaido. The site is a national park. Imagine the views from one of these peaks that are the highest points in Hokkaido. You will climb the highest peak, Mount Asahi, with your guide; the mountain against a gorgeous pond will leave a lasting afterimage on your mind. If you are lucky, you may encounter a small pool of hot spring where you can soak to relax your feet. Our guide Jun is an experienced mountain climber who thoroughly knows about the area. His botanical and geological knowledge is vast. Since his elementary school teacher took him to mountain hiking, mountains have become his mentors. Jun is a caring and fit instructor as well as a joyous storyteller.
The hiking course can be modified according to the participants’ conditions and interests.
